Officinalis are often known as "the hissing isopod" due to rubbing their legs in a circular motion on the inside of their shells while curled up, which produces a rattling sound.

If your Isopods, Springtails, Roaches, or other invertebrates are traveling to a location that is currently experiencing temperatures above 85 degrees or below 50 degrees, we will be sending them to your nearest shipping hub. This includes sorting at the facility location.
Please include your email and phone number with your order, so that we may further provide tracking tools for your package and list with our shipper.
Once the package leaves our facility and is in the hands of the shipping company, we have no control over the package until it is delivered.
If there were any issues with your shipment such as a Dead On Arrival, please contact us with proof of unboxing and photo of "dead on arrival" and we will gladly work with you to achieve a positive resolution.
