Globular Sp. "Purple Globular Springtail"

Very rare species recently found in Big Cypress surrounding areas. 1.5 hour hike from the main road, this species was found in an isolated island with rotting wood throughout. Best enjoyed through a magnifying glass or macro lense.

Purpose: Clean Up Crew & Exotic Pet 

Origin: Big Cypress, South Florida 

Humidity: Prefer damp soil mixed with rotting wood. 

One moist orchid moss corner is also provided for this species. 

Keep in temperatures of 76-78 degrees Fahrenheit.

Likes to consume tropical fish flakes and our Isopod & Springtail Creatine Mix. 

Prolific species which displays beautiful striping and purple color throughout. 

This is a slow crawling species which does jump. 

Very unique and unclassified springtail. This may be a new species to science!

Once the package leaves our facility and is in the hands of the shipping company, we have no control over the package until it is delivered.
